INGREDIENTS
2 large onions ( grated)
1/4 cup of Extra virgin olive oil
12 loin lamb chops ( 1 inch thick)
1/2 tsp. sumac
pinch of fresh thyme leaves

DIRECTIONS
Sprinkle grated onions with a 1 tsp. of salt onto a large plate
Squeeze out juices of the onion and discard
Mix all ingredients together
Brush on lamb chops and let marinate for at least 1 hour

Grill chops on both side
Sprinkle with salt and lots of cracked black pepper
You should allow at least 4 to 6 mins. of grilling on each side for a nice medium well
and less time for a more rare meat
SERVE with potato wedges or pilaf
